Wrestle UTA star "Too Cool" Chris Hopper receieved a special award from the Wounded Warrior Project after his visit to Armed Forces Hospital in Al-Hada, Saudi Arabia.
The award signifies that Mr. Hopper had visited 100 Hospitals during his wrestling career, personally greeting and talking to nearly a thousand service men and women in dozens of countries.
"It is the least I can do," stated the wrestler. "They have stepped out in front and defended the country we all hold dear. We are safe and free because of what they do. I can't think of a better way to express my own appreciation than to personally tell them myself, face-to-face."
This visit comes during the "World Tour" for Wrestle UTA. These kinds of tours are exciting for Hopper in regards to seeing soldiers.
"I like to be able to go to them and say thanks," Hopper stated. "Being on tour is a great opportunity because otherwise I'm confined to just the main forty-eight states. This allows me to visit the soldiers that are on those lines closer to the battle fought against terror. I think UTA for allowing us this tour because it allows me this opportunity and also I want to thank the hospital for letting me visit."
Wrestle UTA will have its next "Wrestleshow" event in Cairo, Egypt on Monday night, check local listings for showtimes.
