Season Four, Week Seven
Houston, Texas
August 15, 2011

THE LEAGUE: SEASON FOUR, WEEK SEVEN

It is a raucous crowd that has filled Reliant Stadium in Houston as the pyro goes on for well over a minute, proving that apparently everything IS bigger in Texas. As the house lights come on, it's plain to see that Scott Stevens is the local hero here and is heavily favored in his main event contest tonight. It's also worth noting that there are a handful of "If Phoenix wins we riot" signs and even one "Official Phoenix Lynch Mob" sign near ringside, complete with a group of people dressed in gaoler's gear. Finally, we head to ringside and our temporarily-reduced announce team.

Bob Sinclair: Good evening, everyone, and welcome to week seven of The League! Bob Sinclair, sitting at ringside with Tori Montgomery; Frankie Garnett will be joining us later on. Tori, have you ever seen such a biased crowd?

Tori Montgomery: I'm getting flashbacks of Cornell/Strong a few years back, Bob, but in four seasons here with The League this is the first time I can recall such a unanimous crowd!

Bob Sinclair: This has all the makings of a night to remember, folks, and we're not going to waste any more time. Let's send it to Amelia Williams to get the night started!

Sean (4-2, 15%) vs. Eidenhoek Gaiaspade (2-4, 14%)

Motley Crue's "Kickstart My Heart" hits the arena speakers as a spotlight shines down on the top of the ramp. Emerging from the back, the reigning League Champion emerges, gold belt gleaming in the spotlight as he throws a hand into the air, causing pyro to erupt from behind him in a manner of paparazzi photographing him. With a smirk, the champ slings the title belt over his shoulder and heads to the ring, the spotlight remaining on him the whole time.

Amelia Williams: Ladies and gentlemen, this is our opening contest of the evening, scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, now residing in Los Angeles, California, weighing 230 pounds, he is the reigning and defending League Champion..."Hollywood" Sean!

Bob Sinclair: Sean's been a definite surprise this season, staying in the top quarter of The League in terms of entertainment value while maintaining his usual knack for being competitive. Could he be the first League Champion to repeat?

Tori Montgomery: I'm not going to doubt him, Bob; with the entertainment value rocketing up from his last three seasons he has to be the overwhelming favorite to challenge for a second straight League Championship.

Disturbed's "Indestructible" hits the arena as one of this season's rookies emerges from the back, looking surprisingly at ease despite the hard beat of the song. Jumping onto the apron from the floor, he steps between the ropes and calmly waits waits for the bell to get the match underway.

Amelia Williams: His opponent, from the Island of Tria, weighing 205 pounds...Eidenhoek Gaiaspade!

Tori Montgomery: Eidenhoek needs this one, plain and simple. A loss keeps him no fewer than two matches out of the division lead. If either Thor or Triumph win tonight, he's three out with seven to go. Those are not good odds.

Bob Sinclair: He's in for a tough fight, though. This is the defending champ we're talking about.

Tori Montgomery: Sean not wasting any time in bailing from the ring tonight; what's got him so spooked?

Bob Sinclair: The lynch mob, maybe?

Tori Montgomery: Hmmm...good point.

Jack Lightning (2-4, 14%) vs. Thor Hammerskald (4-2, 15%)

Linkin Park's "New Divide" hits the speakers as the first Canadian to enter The League emerges from the back, looking surprisingly at ease as he steps onto the ring apron and leaps over the top rope. Climbing onto the turnbuckles, he raises an arm in the air and drinks in the cheers of the crowd before dropping back to the mat and preparing for his match.

Amelia Williams: Our next contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from London, Ontario, weighing 233 pounds...Jack Lightning!

Tori Montgomery: Like Gaius last match, this is basically a must-win for Lightning. A loss guarantees him to be three behind the leader.

Bob Sinclair: And again like Gaius, I don't envy his task tonight.

Amon Amarth's "Death in Fire" hits the speakers, to a decent ovation he emerges from backstage, looking every bit the part of a Viking warrior as he strides to the ring with a determined look on his face...and scattering some of the fans away from the entrance ramp as he turns to glare at them. Behind him, his manager/League color commentator can be see giving him encouragement as the Viking enters the confines of the squared circle.

Amelia Williams: His opponent, being accompanied to the ring by Frankie Garnett, from Oslo, Norway, weighing 310 pounds...Thor Hammerskald!

Tori Montgomery: Hammerskald has the chance to really drive Gaius to the brink of playoff elimination tonight with a victory here.

Bob Sinclair: Hammerskald does have his 10-4 record from a season ago, and the services of Frankie Garnett in his corner. He seems to be the favorite in this contest.

Bob Sinclair: And in one fell swoop, Lightning picks up the upset!

Tori Montgomery: Thor is beside himself, Bob. Those top rope moves seem to be his downfall!

Bob Sinclair: And if Frankie was smart, that's what he would focus Thor on defending. If he wants to keep his client's chances at a divisional title alive.

BLUE DIVISION: Dante Lorenzo (3-3, 14%) vs. Ian Carlisle (0-6, 15%)

Three Days Grace's "Riot" hits the speakers to a chorus of jeers as the first Italian-born member of The League emerges from the back, ignoring the crowd in the arena as he mentally prepares for his upcoming match. Reaching the ring, he climbs up the steps and enters between the ropes, his face never losing a look of confident indifference.

Amelia Williams: This is a Blue Division match scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Florence, Italy, weighing 291 pounds...Dante Lorenzo!

Tori Montgomery: Lorenzo comes in as the overwhelming pick this week; nearly 80% of our online voters have him as the man winning this match.

Bob Sinclair: Even still, he can't be careless. His opponent has been known to create upsets on the fly.

"Not a Stranger to the Danger" blares through the arena as one of last season's rookies steps into the arena, a look of determination on his face. A moment later, he sprints towards the ring, sliding in under the bottom rope and heading to a corner to appeal to the fans.

Amelia Williams: His opponent, from Blackpool, England, weighing 222 pounds...Ian Carlisle!

Tori Montgomery: Carlisle's season is all but done already, Bob; a loss puts him in territory that has yet to be entered.

Bob Sinclair: No one has started 0-7 in a season; the current mark is 0-6 held by Sebastian Moore last season, and Ian Carlisle this season. A loss here puts Carlisle in the record books in a way he does not want.

Amelia Williams: Here is your winner, at a time of five minutes and fifty seconds...Dante Lorenzo!

Tori Montgomery: Carlisle is probably wishing for the season to be over at this point; 0-7 is not how he envisioned it to begin.

Bob Sinclair: He still has a while to go to get to the all-time League record holder, El Demonio de Sangre, who ended last season with 12 consecutive losses.

Nuclear Templeton (3-3, 15%) vs. SGRaaize (2-4, 15%)

Billy Idol's "Shock to the System" hits the speakers, bringing the crowd to their feet in ovation as one of the League's more recognizable faces emerges from backstage and across the green-tinted stage. As he hits the end of the entrance ramp, he throws his arms into the air, sending a pair of mushroom clouds into the air from the stage as he makes his way to the ring and through the ropes.

Amelia Williams: This bout is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Atlantic City, New Jersey, weighing 278 pounds...Nuclear Templeton!

Bob Sinclair: I'm sorry, fans, but I just don't see any way that Templeton can lose this match. He has every advantage feasible over his opponent tonight.

Frankie Garnett: Which makes me wonder why Templeton even teams with the schlub.

Tori Montgomery: When did you get back here?

Frankie Garnett: Just before we came back from commercial, Tori. Way to pay attention!

A Portugesa hits the speakers to a rousing chorus of jeers as the Tron displays the national flag of Portugal. Emerging from the entryway, he turns to salute his homeland's flag before calmly walking to the ring, ignoring the fans as he slides into the ring and bounces off the ropes a couple of times to stretch.

Amelia Williams: (opening) from Torres Vedras, Portugal, weighing 231 pounds...SGRaaize!

Tori Montgomery: Coming in to tonight, Raaize only has one win against Templeton in five tries. His chances are—

Frankie Garnett: Basically non-existant. Face it, Raaize seems like he's been phoning it in this season. He has no one to blame but himself.

Bob Sinclair: This is the most common match-up in League history, as these two wrestlers face each other for the sixth time. I expect a lot of counters in this one!

Frankie Garnett: Wait, I blinked and it was over?

Bob Sinclair: Templeton puts Raaize away in a hurry, and I think that ties the League record!

Tori Montgomery: You'd be correct, Bob. This is the third match to go under three minutes, but surprisingly not the first where the fans actively jeered the competitors afterwards.

Frankie Garnett: Kind of like winning the Special Olympics, huh?

Bob Sinclair: Will you stop?!

Master Imoka (3-3, 15%) vs. Johnny Triumph (4-2, 15%)

Slayer's "Angel of Death" blasts from the arena speakers as one of this season's rookies emerges from the back, staring a hole through the ring as if by doing so, he can change it to his preferred medium of a martial arts mat. As he gets to ringside, he quickly lashes out and kicks the top half of the steel steps off the bottom half, snarling as he slides into the ring and stands motionless, waiting for the bell to sound.

Amelia Williams: This match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from the Isle of Samoa, weighing 214 pounds...Master Imoka!

Bob Sinclair: Imoka's been one of the surprises from this season's rookie class, and comes in tonight with a chance to remain on Sean's heels in the Green Division with a win.

Frankie Garnett: Against his opponent tonight? No chance.

Tori Montgomery: I wouldn't be so sure about that, Frankie.

A remixed version of "Ecstasy of Gold" hits the speakers, which is nearly drowned out in jeers as he emerges from the entryway. Instead of taking the steps closest to him, he walks around to the opposite side of the ring, drawing in more jeers as he finally climbs the steps and enters the ring.

Amelia Williams: His opponent, from Des Moines, Iowa, weighing 228 pounds...Johnny Triumph!

Bob Sinclair: After his struggles last season, Triumph seems to have turned his fortunes around. A win here gives him outright control of the Black Division heading into the second half of the season.

Frankie Garnett: And let's face it, that's where he will be; so let's skip the maybes and get on with facts!

BLUE DIVISION: Diamond (3-3, 15%) vs. Ezekial Kerghan (4-2, 15%)

"Don't Cha" hits the arena to a mixed reaction as The League's lone female member emerges from backstage. There is a confident smirk on her face as she talks trash with some of the louder fans before sprinting into the ring by diving under the bottom rope. As she stands, she proceeds to the corner nearest the announce table, hands thrown in the air as the soaks in the crowd reaction while her manager stands outside, also applauding her client.

Amelia Williams: This bout is scheduled for one fall in the Blue Division! Introducing first, accompanied to the ring by Jayde, from Aberdeen, Scotland, weighing 137 pounds...Diamond!

Frankie Garnett: Meanwhile, without visual aid, most of the people won't realize it, Tori.

RED DIVISION: Pizza Mask III (3-3, 16%) vs. Maxx Skabb (5-1, 15%)

The theme to Samurai Pizza Cats, of all things, hits as Pizza Mask comes out on a scooter, with a pizza box strapped to the back, wearing a helmet with his pizza-design mask, his black polo shirt covered by a red t-shirt that simply says "You Can't Avoid the Noidsault!", and khaki pants, hopping off the scooter and unstrapping the pizza box, holding it up to the screen to show that it reads "Pain Pizza! Now With 100% Real Cheese!" before he heads to the ring. As he enters the ring itself, he pulls off the Noidsault T-shirt and tosses it into the crowd, getting ready for the match.

Amelia Williams: This is a Red Division contest scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Your Friendly Neighborhood Pizzeria, weighing 199 pounds...Pizza Mask III!

Bob Sinclair: I'll admit, I'm a bit worried about Pizza Mask's condition. After those vile chair shots last week, I think he's coming back way too early given the symptoms of a concussion he was showing.

Frankie Garnett: Eh, three aspirin and a good night's rest is all he needs. He looks fine to me!

Tori Montgomery: Still, one has to hope that this match ends quickly, for his sake.

Avenged Sevenfold's "Nightmare" blares throughout the arena as spotlights begin to pan over the audience, as if looking for someone. A dim red light shines on the entryway, revealing a hulking figure making his way to ringside, with two more men hiding just at the fringes of the spotlight, their eyes never leaving the form of the big man. As the refrain hits, the spotlights immediately focus on him as white strobe lights flash on the entrance stage. He slides under the bottom rope, his orange jumpsuit a stark contrast to most of the clothing in the audience as the song fades into silence.

Amelia Williams: His opponent, from the Orange County Correctional Facility, weighing 289 pounds...Maxx Skabb!

Frankie Garnett: You know that cliché about sharks and blood in the water? Maxx has that look about him right now.

Tori Montgomery: Even more reason for Pizza Mask to get this match done quickly.

Bob Sinclair: PM's a better man than that, Tori. He's going to give it his all no matter what.

Bob Sinclair: With that, Skabb maintains his lead in the Red Division; the only question now is how much of a lead will he have going into the second half of the season?

Frankie Garnett: Two matches, without doubt.

Tori Montgomery: I disagree, Frankie. In my mind, Phoenix is the favorite. He's dealt with enough hardship that this has to be a cakewalk for him.

Frankie Garnett: And you say that my head is up Stevens' ass?

Bob Sinclair: Cool it....

YELLOW DIVISION: Rannulf von Krüshengberg (3-3, 19%) vs. Benjamin T. Stanton, Jr. (2-4, 15%)

The opening to Rammstein's "Mein Teil" hits the speakers as the largest member of The League emerges, causing everyone with something that could even remotely be considered food to get away from the entranceway as quickly as possible for fear of losing their food...and at least a body part or two.

Amelia Williams: This contest is a Yellow Division bout scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from der Schwarzwald, Deutschland, weighing 421 pounds..."Der Panzer" Rannulf von Krüshengberg!

Frankie Garnett: Anyone who says that Rannulf should lose this match needs their head examined. Look at all the advantages!

Tori Montgomery: Those "advantages" haven't helped him too much, Frankie, given that Rannulf is only 3-3 at this point.

"Here Comes the Money" hits the speakers, as one of this season's rookies emerges from the back, with a beautiful woman hanging off his left arm. He pays no attention to the jeering fans, his attitude simply screaming "I'm better than you."

Amelia Williams: His opponent, accompanied to the ring by Missy Callistra, from Providence, Rhode Island, weighing 224 pounds...Benjamin T. Stanton, Jr.!

Frankie Garnett: Really, what is the point of Missy coming to ringside? Has she done anything all season?

Bob Sinclair: About as much as you have, Frankie.

Frankie Garnett: (Scoffs) That's just jealousy speaking.

Tori Montgomery: No, he's actually about right there.

YELLOW DIVISION: Tarik Nolan (3-3, 21%) vs. Robbie Maynard (4-2, 15%)

"Regulate" hits the speakers, immediately drawing the ire of the crowd as a large figure stands in the entryway, backlit by a clear spotlight. Pyro explodes on the stage, causing the light to shut off as the figure finally emerges onto the stage proper. Laughing at the boos hurled in his direction, he takes his time walking to the ring and subsequently entering it for his next match.

Amelia Williams: This is a Yellow Division bout scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Shreveport, Louisiana, weighing 292 pounds...Tarik Nolan!

Tori Montgomery: With Stanton's win, Nolan has a chance to tie the division and take the lead via tie-breaker with a win tonight. He's got a tough test ahead of him.

Bob Sinclair: With a perennial contender about to come to the ring, that's no joke, Tori.

The opening riffs of Metallica's "Master of Puppets" hits the speakers, drawing a mixed reaction from the crowd as one of the League's initial playoff wrestlers emerges from the stage, bathed in a blue light shining beneath him. After pausing to mentally prepare himself, he walks to the ring, his eyes never leaving the squared circle as he climbs onto the apron and ducks between the ropes.

Amelia Williams: His opponent, from Liverpool, England, weighing 251 pounds...Robbie Maynard!

Frankie Garnett: Hey, you think I have enough time to use the restroom before the lynch mob starts?

Tori Montgomery: Why are you so obsessed with the lynch mob, Frankie?

Frankie Garnett: Because Phoenix is scum! SCUM!

Bob Sinclair: Frankie, you've been playing Mafia with the staff again, haven't you?

Tori Montgomery: Time for you to wallow in your tears?

Frankie Garnett: Get real, Tori! It's time for the burial of Phoenix's career!

Tori Montgomery: More like the burial of your head up—

Bob Sinclair: That's enough, Tori.

RED DIVISION: The Phoenix (4-2, 15%) vs. Scott Stevens (2-4, 24%)

The lights go dim, as the sound of thunder and lightning fill the arena. The video screen lights up and flashes across the screen, a Texas flag and fades out into the words "Texas Outlaw." Over the audio system the beginnings of the main title from "The Good, The Bad & The Ugly" is heard. As this starts to fade out some the opening guitar riffs of "A Country Boy Can Survive" by Hank Williams Jr. begin to blast throughout the arena. Out from the back emerges "The Venomous One" and he stops on the stage to soak up the cheers of his hometown crowd.

Bob Sinclair: Stevens is not wearing his normal attire tonight is he guys?

Tori Montgomery: Nope. He looks like a redneck cowboy out there with his cowboy boots, jeans, leather duster jacket and hat on. Is that...is that a rope tied in a noose around his neck? Did he forget the cowbell?

Frankie Garnett: Yes it is Tori. He told me since he was in the Great State of Texas and in his hometown tonight he was going to pay homage to his father who is sitting at ringside here tonight.

Tori Montgomery: Great state? Back in the 1800's, maybe.

Frankie Garnett: Yes, that's what they call it. What is with the attitude? Is it that time of the month already?

Tori Montgomery: Well, you know what they say comes from Texas don't you?

Frankie Garnett: No, what's that?

Tori Montgomery: Steers and qu.....

Bob Sinclair: Tori!!

Tori Montgomery: I have a right to my opinion, and besides, this is Stevens I'm talking about. Both of those names kind of fit him, to a point!

As Scorpion makes his way down the aisle he slaps the hands of this rowdy, Houstonian crowd. He circles the ringside area and goes to the commentators desk.

Tori Montgomery: That idiot looks to be coming over here.

Scorpion looks at Tori and blows her a kiss before he continues circling the ringside area.

Frankie Garnett: I didn't know you two were dating.

Tori Montgomery: Screw you Frankie.

Scorpion makes his way to the side where his family is sitting and he hugs his brothers George and Ricky. Scorpion high fives his former trainee and Ricky's manager, Drusilla Danes. Ricky's tag partner, Ash Darkstone tries to get a high five as well but Scorpion just turns away leaving him hanging. As he moves down the line he and Lisa eye each other and then Lisa gives him a kiss on the cheek and he nods. Scorpion finally gets to the patriarch of the Stevens clan and hugs him. Cary gives him some words of encouragement before he climbs onto the apron and ascends the turnbuckle. He stares down the entranceway as he mimics a hanging with the noose around his neck indicating that will be Phoenix's future tonight.

Tori Montgomery: By all that is holy, I hope Stevens gets his ass kicked eight ways from Wednesday tonight!

Frankie Garnett: And where is that vaunted impartiality you're crowing on and on about all the time?

Tori Montgomery: Stuff it, Frankie, before I do it for you.

Bob Sinclair: That's enough, you two. We still have a match to call.

Stevens continues to play to the crowd, getting the partisan crowd behind him before the lights suddenly cut off. A spotlight shines down on Stevens in the ring, as the silence from the speakers continues to build. When it seems like the crowd is about to erupt in riots, it's the haunting vocals of Amy Lee that reverberate throughout Reliant Stadium.

Bind my limbs with fear,
Choke me with tears,
I won't die for you.

On the 'Tron is an image of Stevens trying to choke out Phoenix at the end of last season, intermittently flashing with the image of another wrestler holding Phoenix in a camel clutch as the big man's face turns a shade of purple.

You've been here before,
And come back for more,
But not this time.....

The music stops momentarily as the entire entrance stage is engulfed by pillars of flame pyro, and the spotlight in the ring turns blood red. Two figures emerge from the entryway. The larger of the two is garbed completely in crimson from head to foot, the smaller of the pair carrying twin kendo sticks, and the arena erupts in a unanimous chorus of jeers as the music resumes, trying to overwhelm the audience reaction.

You will never be strong enough,
You will never be good enough.
You were never conceived in love,
You will not rise above....

Evanescence's "Lies (Requiem mix)" continues to play as Phoenix walks down the aisle, paying no heed to the fans or the garbage they throw at him. In the ring, Stevens continues to taunt his opponent with the noose, but Phoenix does not rise to the bait as he gets to the steps and ducks between the ropes, immediately facing his corner and dropping to a knee. The lights finally return to normal, as the crowd continues to boo the traditional fan favorite and throw the occasional piece of garbage at his corner.

Tori Montgomery: What sort of bizarro-world hell are we in now, anyway?

Bob Sinclair: Tori, I'm only going to ask you one more time. No more insults, or you're going to be muted.

Tori Montgomery: Only if Frankie gets his head out of the Stevens family's collective asses.

Frankie Garnett: That was uncalled for!

Tori Montgomery: But true nonetheless.

Bob Sinclair: I...have to agree with Tori on that one.

After all of this, our ring announcer finally makes her way to the center of the ring to formally begin the festivities.

Amelia Williams: This match is our main event, a bout scheduled for one fall in the Red Division! Introducing first, from his hometown of Houston, Texas, weighing 265 pounds...He is "The Texas Outlaw"... "The Scorpion" Scott Stevens!

Once again, the cheers threaten to blow the roof off of the stadium as a "Scorp-i-on!" chant breaks out. It takes Amelia a few seconds before the crowd dies down enough for her to continue.

Amelia Williams: His opponent—(jeers erupt, threatening to cut her off, yet she presses on) –accompanied by Te'Snilo Bradenbury, from the End of Nowhere and weighing 337 pounds...The Phoenix!

At this, Phoenix uppercuts the middle turnbuckle in his corner, emitting his traditional war cry as he stands and turns to face his opponent. Stevens simply makes the throat slash gesture to Phoenix, gives a crotch chop and wink to Te'Snilo, and calmly moves to the center of the ring as the bell sounds to start the main event!

Tori Montgomery: Knowing Phoenix as well as I do, he's probably hearing all of the snarky comments that Stevens recorded for League cameras earlier in the week. To steal a line, I think Phoenix is about to choke a—

Tori Montgomery: Remember, it's not the first time he's had to dig this deep into himself, Bob. Just be glad he hasn't broken out the piledrivers and delayed brainbusters yet.

Frankie Garnett: As if he could injure Scorpion with that sort of piddly offense.

Bob Sinclair: I couldn't make it out; what did he say?

Tori Montgomery: All you had to do was read his lips, Bob. "It's time to cripple the bastard."

Frankie Garnett: That was uncalled for!

In the audience, Lisa Stevens tries to jump the railing and come to her husband's aid, but is stopped in her tracks, narrowly avoiding a kendo stick swing from Te'Snilo Bradenbury. The manager turns to face the Stevens family, and the look on her face begs any of them to try it again.

Tori Montgomery: There you go, Tess!

Frankie Garnett: This is unfair!

Tori Montgomery: What, so twenty-on-one is fair?

Frankie Garnett: When the one outweighs all twenty combined, yes!

Bob Sinclair: Meanwhile, there's still a match going on, you two.

Tori Montgomery: Break it! Break his damn ankle, Will!

Bob Sinclair: It looks like the Stevens family is threatening to clear the railing, but Te'Snilo is standing in their way with her husband's trademark twin kendo sticks to keep them back...she nearly cracked the Stevens patriarch in the skull with that swing!

Frankie Garnett: Where's the damn DQ, ref? That can't be right!

The referee checks the submission...
It seems to be locked in!
Will This Be It?
It's Still Locked In!

Bob Sinclair: Stevens looks limp in the ring, guys! I think he passed out!

Tori Montgomery: No mercy! Keep it locked in!

The referee has called for the bell!

Frankie Garnett: Oh, [censored]. You two are on your own; I'm getting the hell out of Dodge before the riots start.

Tori Montgomery: Sit your ass down!

Amelia Williams: Here is your winner, at a time of eight minutes and fifty seconds...The Phoenix!

The arena absolutely erupts in jeers as the entirety of the Stevens clan surges towards the barricade. Te'Snilo tries to back away but finds her progress stopped suddenly by a blast of pepper spray to the eyes, courtesy of Lisa Stevens.

Tori Montgomery: What the hell?!

Frankie Garnett: Looks like the family's about to deliver some Texas justice!

Three of the Stevens clan is already in the ring as Phoenix begins to get to his feet. Drusilla Danes nails him with a low blow from behind that sends him crashing back to the mat. On the outside, Te'Snilo is being held in a guillotine choke by Lisa Stevens, allowing the mugging (and let's face it, that's exactly what this is) to go uncontested.

Bob Sinclair: This is absolutely uncalled for.

Tori Montgomery: Can we get security out here please to stop this.

Frankie Garnett: This is fantastic! Butterball had it coming.

Scorpion's brother Ricky and his tag partner, Ash Darkstone, pick up Phoenix and hit what they call the Rising Shadow of the Desolate One.

Bob Sinclair: Now the Burning Blood Ravens of Perdition are getting in on the action. How sick.

Frankie Garnett: I love it. Looks like George is going to do something dastardly.

George mounts the second rope and bounces a few times before he hits a Crawdaddy Splash to the back of Phoenix.

Tori Montgomery: Dear God. That fat bastard just jarred Phoenix's spine. The man has a messed up neck!!!

Frankie Garnett: Can I get this on DVD so I can watch this brilliance over and over?

Scorpion, who has finally come back to his senses, motions for his brothers and Ash to pick up Phoenix's prone body so that he can finish him off. However, Scorpion's father motions him away and he abides. All of a sudden Cary bounces off the ropes and nails Phoenix with a lariat, TEXAS STYLE!!!! Cary signals for a microphone.

Cary Stevens: This is what happens you piece of crap when you mess with one of my boys. You understand?

Cary stomps on the back of his neck before the rest join in stomping away. A full minute of this passes, with the Houston crowd cheering every stomp. Finally, Scorpion motions for Ricky to grab a steel chair. Outside the ring, Lisa finally lets an unconscious Te'Snilo out of her grasp before sliding into the ring. A chair comes flying in from the outside, which Ash Darkstone intercepts and places at the feet of Scorpion. The League's most controversial member then picks up his fallen opponent, situating him over the steel chair before setting him up for a powerbomb...?

Tori Montgomery: No. They can't mean to do this! Not a spiked piledriver on a steel chair!

Frankie Garnett: Priceless...do it! END HIS CAREER!

Security is finally seen coming down the ramp, so the Stevens clan quickly lifts Phoenix into the air before driving him into the chair with the aforementioned spike piledriver! As security nears the ring, the family bails, hopping back over the railing and leaving through the wildly cheering crowd, leaving a decimated Phoenix and Te'Snilo behind. And as EMT's tend to the husband and wife duo, the show fades to black on that somber note.
