Lew and his crew arrive in Rio de Janeiro and get settled in nicely at a hotel after a plane journey from Mexico City. After witnessing the events of Wrestleshow Forty-Four, Lew's mind is now in scattered pieces...but scattered in a strange arranged pattern for him to easily piece together and work out his plan of action. His mind is elsewhere as he unpacks, Jordan and Hayley have other plans.
Hayley: I still can't believe it!
Jordan: It's not butter!
Jordan chuckles to himself as Hayley nudges his arm.
H: There's hardly any private hire gyms around here.
J: It's Brazil, I'm sure we can think more about the situation. What about any Capoiera places?
H: I don't think it'd be nice of us to disturb the local people. Plus, any fans who are wondering the streets would probably recognise Lew. I don't think it'd be wise to have people swarm him for autographs. You saw the World Cup and the amounts of people there.
Lew: Then we'll have the training sessions here.
L: We'll just set up shop on the balcony. It's in the blazing hot sun, not only can we catch some rays and enjoy this beautiful weather but there's enough room to throw a few punches, kicks and do some ground exercises. Use what we have.
J: I don't think there's that much room out there. But hey, we can try.
H: I can't figure out your mood, Lew.
H: You seem to be quite happy but also quite confined. Everything alright?
L: Remember a few days ago, before Wrestleshow just gone where I had said about Dynasty being a scheming group? Sean Jackson and his contract for the title?
L: You guys seem to be completely ignoring the fact that he ditched Dynasty...rendering our conversation a few days ago irrelevant. This completely changes up the battleground...but for the better.
H: Oh yeah. Big stuff happened that night...we didn't think too much into it.
L: Because you and Jordan had got up for refreshments when it was during Blanca's speech. You guys missed the entire slot of Sean turning the other cheek against Blanca...
J: It just seems too much of a play to me...
L: Oh? How so?
J: As you said...they're a scheming lot...don't you think they might have planned this all ahead?
L: For Sean to full on blast the rest of Dynasty straight up the way he did...there's no denying what was going on...he's tired of being second best...he's going for that title...and I have a feeling it's going to be called soon. Striking Blanca in Mexico? His home turf? This is a big deal.
H: Alright, so, if that's the case...what does that mean for you?
L: For me? A potential slash temporary alliance with Jackson to strip Blanca of his title...making Dynasty a broken down weak force of the UTA. Finally bringing equality to its final stand against a ruling iron fist, especially without Wingate standing in the way. Thanks to Ron Hall.
J: Yeah! Enough about Dynasty for now! This is your chance to bring it full circle! Your tag match at upcoming Victory.
L: Indeed! Team Danger... Stephen Greer and Tyrone Walker. A duo force that's to be feared. They've been tag partners for an incredibly long time and by far surpasses any teamwork here in the UTA.
H: It's hard to evaluate them both individually...as they are just associated with one another automatically. But I think it's safe to give it a go?
J: Stephen Greer appears to be the brains, whilst Tyrone Walker seems to be the muscle. But together they form a mixture of pure genius strength which you cannot overcome. It's like they're ying and yang. The perfect balance of strength and wit...together they compensate for each others short comings and begin to outweigh the cons. They're a tough team, Lew. Are you sure you're ready to take them on?
L: Ron Hall...he's a Hall of Famer. Now whilst that isn't enough proof that he's a truly amazing wrestler...as proven his current win, loss record...but he's a veteran...a man filled with experience beyond anyone here dreams of having. People see me as great because I was the VCW Champion at one very early stage of my career. Nearly UTA Champion at one crucial ponit of UTA history...no doubt one of the biggest highlights...pinning the UTA Champion after going all out...taking out a bunch of Dynasty too. But that's all they are...highlights. I'm not that skilled, but damn it I pull through at really random times and it creates moments like that which make my name known. Which is also a downfall. All it is, is a name to fear. You go against that name and you tremble...but you succeed with ease and you feel like you're on top of the world. It's false hope which I project to my opponents and that's why I'm not as good as I should be...as I make out that I am.
Hayley walks over and holds him.
L: But hey! If my name strikes fear...then why should I be afraid about using that to my advantage and take out my opponents. I may not be good but if my highlights and my name makes me win...I'll improve in my own time. Ha!
Lew smiles and walks out onto the balcony to check the space.
L: I used to be Synergy Champion back in EWA with my brother...three times! Held it at months at a time. As soon as we lost them we'd win them straight back! I know what it takes to be a tag champion. It's whether Ron Hall wants to be a tag partner with me.
Jordan and Hayley join Lew out on the balcony.
L: Does a Hall of Famer want to be a tag champion with someone who just has a name to him? If I'm not champion material in his or anyone else eyes, would he be happy fighting by my side for greatness? Lordy knows that I could use that influence but...would I be dragging him down?
H: I wouldn't think so hardly of it, Lew.
J: Yeah, man! This gives you a great opportunity to work with the greats! Talk to him backstage about the work and effort put in to be a Hall of Famer! Maybe you can keep your head down and apply that, not only to your everyday wrestling but to your plans for your future career!
L: It's definitely something to consider! With his knowledge and experience...learning through him can push me further. La Flama Blanca remains the UTA Champion with Sean Jackson close behind him at all times...Alex Beckman probably kicking herself that she was only a few moments short from being the new champion. Taking what Ron Hall will teach me at Victory to heart will push me in my individual efforts...but if it pays off and we get our chance for gold? I could potentially be his underling...learn everything he's experienced...become greater than Greer and Walker...Jackson...Beckman...Blanca...maybe even Ron Hall himself...
Lew turns to Hayley and Jordan.
L: I'm definitely ready to take a partner in crime to dominate once more. Just all depends on fate now. I'll go into the ring with Ron Hall...shake his hand with all my respect and develop a swift bond. And we'll beat Team Danger into the ground.
TEAM DANGER. TYRONE WALKER AND STEPHEN GREER. RON HALL IS BY MY SIDE. I HAVE TO SAY IT THAT WAY AS IT SEEMS LESS INTIMIDATING SAYING THAT I'M AT RON HALL'S SIDE. HAVING THE WEAKER UNDERDOG BACKED BY A FORCE STRONGER THAN YOURS...IT'LL SURELY CONJURE UP SOME COMPLICATIONS FOR YOU. YOU BOTH HAVE YEARS...DECADES OF EXPERIENCE. BUT THAT'S NO MATCH FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS YEARS OF UNLEASHED POTENTIAL WITH SOMEONE WHO HAS YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AT THE READY TO TAKE YOU DOWN A NOTCH! MAYBE IT'LL BE PURE LUCK BEING A FULL YEAR IN THE UTA FOR ME. YEAH...LET'S GO WITH THAT IF ALL ELSE FAILS. SEE YOU GUYS AT VICTORY.
