Amy Harrison is preparing herself for the big gauntlet match in London. After having a good talk with her father the day before, she preparing to be well rested for the show in her hotel room. But before she can do that, she has to get some stuff off her chest about the match.
Harrison: I’ve been here for a little while now, and I think I’ve starting to get the hang of how things work here. But even then, there’s still a good amount of stuff around here that much makes me scratch my head.
Harrison: I’ve seen some of the decisions that have been made around here, and quite frankly, some of it doesn’t make sense. I don’t have enough time to go through all of it, but lets just say that it’s been questionable, to say the least.
Amy shakes her head.
Harrison: Well, until now, that is, because this place finally realises just what they have in Amy Harrison. And all I needed to do was take out two people who this place, for one reason or another, have got some kind of fascination over.
Amy then sits down and then brings herself back to the subject in hand.
Harrison: So, from what I can tell, this whole gauntlet match has been set up with one real person in mind, and that’s Eric Dane. He came in here acting like he deserves this and he deserves that, but from what I see, he deserves nothing!
Harrison: What gives him the right to just come in here and just demand whatever he wants, like he runs the place, it’s ridiculous! If you want to get something here, you can’t just beg for it. You have to do what I’ve been doing and proving people wrong!
Amy looks determined as she speaks.
Harrison: In case you’ve been trying to ignore it or just don’t want to believe it, I’ve actually been on quite the roll lately. I’ve been going against some big names here and I’ve been taking them down. Hall, Dead, Van Claudio, they have all fallen before me.
Harrison: I’ve been the people who run this place no other option; they had to put me in this match. They know that they’ve tried everything that they can to hold me down, and none of it has worked.
Harrison: And now after proving that nothing that the UTA can do will keep me down, nothing that Marie can do to keep me down, now I have the chance to really show people what I am capable of by taking part in this gauntlet match and, dare I say it, win it?
Harrison: But hey, I’m getting a bit ahead of myself here, it’s all just about myself and Dane, I forgot that there are other people that are in this match. So, just for fairness, let’s take a look at the other competitors in this match, shall we?
Amy then picks up a piece of paper containing the list of other competitors.
Harrison: Who are these people? What have these people done to deserve getting a shot like this? This just boggles my mind. Do they just want to give Dane his chance or something? Well, good thing I’m here to stop all this.
Harrison: So we have Skymont, who pretty much only cares about doing hardcore stuff, to try to prove to people that he’s tough by going through light tubes or stuff like that. Well, from the looks of things, he must have gone through some brick walls head first, because you’d have to be ridiculous if you think that’s all you need to get it done.
Amy looks back at the piece of paper, looking at the next name.
Harrison: Then we have this Hunter guy who’s more interested in getting bruises on his body than anything else. Probably using that as an excuse to cover up his obvious lack of talent or something.
Harrison: And then we have Ellis, who is good for……………………wait, what is Ellis good for?
Amy has a puzzled look on her face before throwing the paper away.
Harrison: Look, it doesn’t matter. What does matter is that this match, it’s time for someone to put up or shut up. It’s for someone to prove to the people that put them in this match to show that they deserve to be a world title contender.
Amy then stops in her tracks, realising what she’s saying
Harrison: Wait, you think I’m talking about Dane? Oh no, I meant ME!
Harrison: I’ve been telling everyone exactly what I’m capable of, but no one wants to listen. When this gauntlet match is over, I’ll make sure that everyone has no choice to acknowledge how good I am here. And maybe Mr. Dane will think twice about trying to push his weight around.
Amy finishes with a smirk on her face as she gets herself set for her match.
