Women's Voice: You're father would like to see you, Alex.
Alex, seemingly frustrated, is listening to his mother, Ruth, on the other line of his cellphone.
Ruth: Why don't you come down for dinner tomorrow around 6? It's been so long since I've gotten to see my baby boy... And you know you're father just hasn't been the same since you left the ring. I haven't seen him this excited in a long time, Alex.
Alex: Okay, Mom... Tomorrow at 6. I gotcha.
Ruth: Okay, great. I'm even making your favorite... Homemade corn chowder.
Alex: Alright, I'll see you tomorrow. Love ya.
Ruth: I love you too, baby.
Alex sits his cellphone down on his desk and leans back, stretching out, in his computer chair. As he sits back up and lets out a fierce yawn, his cellphone buzzes. Text message.
Brian: Hey bud. Just wanted to let you know that you're all set up with UTA and you're already booked! Sent you an e-mail. Talk to you soon.
Alex(To Himself): Oh yeah? Huh.
Alex opens the laptop that is perched atop his desk and begins rapidly clicking keys. He opens up his e-mail and begins reading...
Alex(To Himself): I know he isn't serious. No fuckin way.
Alex immediately picks up his phone and begins touching away at the screen, then raising it to his ear. Before the person on the other line could even answer, Alex is already demanding answers.
Alex: Are you kidding me, Brian? This is a joke. Right?
Brian: Alex, just remain calm. Let me expl..
Alex: There is nothing to explain, Brian! You're my agent, not a therapist. The only thing I want to hear you explain is why it is that I pay you. You know, you've been a friend of my father's for a very long time but you're starting to push me to my limit. Are you seriously telling me that my GREAT comeback is starting off in a 40 man comedy fest full of two bit jobbers, low life midcarders, and any other garbage they can find to fill the dumpster with? There isn't a name in that match that compares to the likes of the Redd legacy!
Brian: Alex, I am trying to explain here...
Alex: Explain what, Brain? What is it that is so important? And I'm telling you, Brian, it better be good because you're job is on the line here.
Brian: I understand you're upset about the match. I understand that. And I completely agree that you shouldn't have to be in the ring with these clowns but it is the best I can do for right now. No one wants to book you Alex. No one wants to deal with you. BUT... I have good news. You see, the last five remaining members of this match become number one contenders for different titles, with the winner being crowned number one contender for the world title. Now, what kind of comeback would that be, huh? The fourth generation goldmine going for gold in his return to the ring... And not just any gold... WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP GOLD!
Alex: Hmmmm... And that, Brian, is why I pay you.
They both share a laugh.
Alex: You checked Bodog or anything to see the odds on this thing?
Brian: Ahhh, come on. You said we weren't doing that this time, remember?
Alex: I don't want to bet on myself, Brian, geesh. I just wanted to know what the odds were that I would win this thing is all.
Brian: Well I checked a few sites about an hour ago and you still weren't posted yet. So I'll keep checking and I'll let you know.
Alex: Alright. Later.
Before Brian can even say "Bye", Alex hangs up the phone and sets it down. He lays his head down on top of his hands and sighs with a deep exhale as the scene fades to black.

The scene opens up to a beautifully decorated and well kept living room. The room has a very dark color scheme of black, maroon, and gold. The furniture is all black leather with gold and maroon decor. Alex is sprawled out on the couch, in a hoody and matching sweats, watching the 88" ultra high def television. An older man is rocking comfortably in the plush recliner chair.
Older Man: Alexander, I swear this is your last chance. I don't care what you have to do but you WILL NOT screw this up. I don't care if you have to set up the ring, the chairs, clean the toilets, take it all down, and do it again. YOU WILL DO IT. You hear me?
Alex: Yes, Dad.
Eric: I'm serious, Alex. I've spent my whole life building the Redd name and reputation in this business and I'll be damned if you're going to tarnish it. I spent decades of leaving my blood, sweat, and tears into this business, Alex, DECADES!
Alex: I know, Dad... Believe me, I know.
Eric: Now I talked to Tony and did a little investigating of this UTA place. They're pretty legit and I haven't heard anything but good things about them, Alex. So you go in there, shut your mouth, work hard, and regain the honor of the Redd legacy. You understand?
Alex: Yes, Dad... The legacy.
Eric: Tony tells me that this All or Nothing match they have you in has a reward for the winner or something like that.. What's that all about?
Alex: I don't know too much. Brian told me that the winner automatically becomes number one contender for the world title.
Eric: Well there you go right there, Alex. What better way is there to get your career back on track and restore the Redd name other than winning a number one contendership to the world title in your first match back in the ring? It's perfect. And you know the trophy room can always use some new decorations.
Alex: I'm sure it could... Well one thing for sure, I'm not back in the ring to lose, Dad.
Eric: Alex, I just want you to know that we're all depending on you. I spoke to your grandfather yesterday and he will be here watching with me and your mother. Your grandfather is really excited and he is counting on you, Alex. Don't embarrass me.
Just then Alex's mother, Ruth, can be seen entering the room.
Ruth: Supper is ready.
The scene fades to black.

Location: Parent's House - The Trophy Room
After supper, Alex found his way to the accomplished trophy room. The walls are covered in classic posters and pictures of Alex's great grandfather, grandfather, and father. A few pictures of Alex's early career also adorn the walls and table spaces. One whole wall has nothing but wrestling title belts hanging with very few empty spaces but just enough to make Alex feel the need to fill them.
Alex(To Himself): The trophy room needs more decortations.. *Chuckles* I'm sure it does, Dad. What this room needs is an Alexander Redd renovation. Don't embarrass him. Are you serious? I am the most innovative and dazzling wrestler that ever came from this family! He thinks he can pressure me into winning this thing. *Laughs* Well I got news for ya, Pops.. At All or Nothing, against all odds, I will succeed and then I will become UTA World Champion and we will see what you have to say about that.
The scene fades black.
